UNDOING TIME is a new media documentary that provides an ongoing, multi-faceted examination of injustice in the criminal justice system.
In California, flags, targets, prison uniforms and clothing are made in prison sweatshops. In UNDOING TIME, these products of prison labor are embroidered and laser-cut - inscribed with prisoners’ statements about their experiences - and presented in combination with a media archive.
As the criminal justice system continues to violate the civil, constitutional and human rights of prisoners and poor people of color, UNDOING TIME ARCHIVE will continue to collect evidence and testimony documenting these abuses.
